Commitment

President Linda Connelly founded LCA in 1991 as an organization committed to successful partnerships with the public sector to offer tailor-made programs to promote a more successful criminal justice system that reduces recidivism and promotes greater public safety.  Our mission is to “improve communities” and LCA has worked diligently over the years to provide cost-effective programs with integrity.

Success has come as a result of meaningful commitments:

... to quality program services
  • Every program is custom-designed to meet your needs, not ours.

  • Distinguished as the first private electronic monitoring agency accredited by the American Correctional Association in the United States.

  • Comprehensive Quality Assurance protocol to ensure program compliance

...to education and resources
  • President Linda Connelly helped spearhead and served on a committee of the National Institute of Justice and the American Probation and Parole Association to develop and publish a “How To” manual on electronic technology. Our goal was to help provide reliable information to jurisdictions about equipment, research and program methods that are both safe and effective.

  • LCA routinely provides information and testifies at legislative hearings on effective criminal justice programs.

  • LCA is a recognized leader and expert in electronic technology, routinely being referred by federal, state, and local departments, as well as national associations, to consult with foreign and national criminal justice agencies.

... to our communities
  • Our professionals are ready to consult with your organization today, so that you can begin crafting programs based on public safety and offender accountability. Your community's success is our objective.

  • LCA works hard to keep abreast of community developments and trends as they occur across the country. LCA is a member of the International Community Corrections Association (ICCA), the American Correctional Association, American Probation and Parole Association, and the Community Corrections Coalition of California. Linda Connelly is currently Treasurer of ICCA.
... to you.
